Today I'm with Joe and Joan Seriale, the owners of Joe's Diner. Joe has been in the restaurant business his entire life, and it all started with a restaurant that his grandmother owned. Joe met Joane while working at another restaurant in downtown Phoenix, and they liked the idea of a diner where they could work all day and still be home for dinner.
Joe's Diner serves breakfast and lunch, and they make almost everything from scratch. They also buy local whenever possible, and they even get all of their honey from a beekeeper that Joe grew up with! The food is very high quality compared to a typical breakfast diner.

Joe thought that the biscuits and gravy would be the big hit, but customers seem to fawn over the pancakes. Other people come back again and again for the homemade jams and jellies.
If you're looking for lunch, Joe's serves an Angus chuck burger on a brioche bun with homemade sweet potato chips, but Joe is most proud of his muffuletta that is made with a tapenade dressing from an old family recipe. Joe's also has vegetarian options for non-meat-eaters!
Joe's is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. seven days a week. For more information, visit their website: http://joesdineraz.com/
